Habitat:
Found in the Western Pacific, this wrasse prefers shallow reefs and lagoons with plenty of open swimming space and hiding spots. They thrive in well-established reef tanks.
Diet:
Carnivorous by nature, the Carpenter Flasher Wrasse feeds on zooplankton and small crustaceans in the wild. In aquariums, they accept frozen and pellet foods, as well as live offerings like brine shrimp.
Temperament:
Peaceful and active, this species is best suited for community tanks with other non-aggressive fish. Males may display courtship behaviors in the presence of females.
