Shipping policy

At Reefflex, we prioritize the safe and stress-free transit of corals. We carefully pack corals in insulated foam boxes with ice or heat packs, depending on weather conditions. Our shipping methods incorporate techniques to accommodate corals and reduce stress. We monitor weather reports in the recipient's area to determine appropriate packaging and insulation. Only healthy and pest-free specimens are shipped, and any changes between ordering and shipping will be discussed with the customer. Extreme weather or poor shipping conditions may result in shipment cancellation or delay.

To ensure timely delivery, shipments are scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday. We also offer free local pick-up; however, orders must be picked up within 7 days to avoid a 25% restocking fee on refunds.

Currently, we only offer shipping within the United States, excluding Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. International shipping is not available at this time.

Before shipping, we confirm the delivery dates to prioritize the safety of the animals. Upon request, coral orders can be held for a maximum of 2 weeks, while fish orders can be held for a maximum of 5 business days. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable, and Reefflex is not responsible for any lost packages, delays, mishandling, or damage caused by UPS.

We will contact the customer within one business day of ordering to set up a shipping date. Open communication is encouraged, and any issues should be reported immediately for prompt resolution. We utilize overnight shipping for all our products and accommodate special delivery requests, which can be noted on the invoice or communicated via email. Our special packaging is designed to ensure the arrival of all online coral purchases in optimal condition.

All shipments will be sent via UPS Next Day Air to minimize the risk of delays. We have a $100 minimum order (excluding Shipping) on all shipped purchases. This does not apply to local pickup. 

Orders totaling $599 or more qualify for free shipping. In-store pick-up is available, with taxes applying to orders in California. Please ensure that the shipping address matches the billing address and note that P.O. boxes are not accepted (residential addresses are recommended). A signature is required for all packages, and failure to accept the first delivery attempt voids the livestock assurance policy. If you choose to have your package held at a local FedEx facility, please pick it up within 2 hours of opening.

To ensure a smooth order fulfillment process, we always confirm orders before shipping them out. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing the complete order list and tracking number. Please be aware that eBay orders and purchases, as well as Live Sales and Live Sale After Sales, do not qualify for free shipping. Additionally, any pending balances on our website or eBay may cause a delay in shipping.

Orders totaling $599.99 or more (after discounts) qualify for free shipping. For next-day shipping, please place your order by 8:00 a.m. PST/11:00 a.m. EST on Sunday and Monday. Our standard shipping days for corals are Monday and Tuesday, but alternate days can be arranged upon request. If you prefer Saturday delivery, an additional fee applies.
